The Westcliff International Journal of Applied Research (WIJAR) is a multidisciplinary, double-blind peer-reviewed, open access journal published by the LITE Center from the Office of Faculty Affairs in partnership with the Doctoral Affairs and Academic Resources Department at Westcliff University. WIJAR provides a scholarly platform for students, faculty, researchers, and industry professionals to publish original research that advances knowledge and demonstrates practical application. The journal is committed to promoting high quality scholarship while supporting authors throughout the peer review and editorial process.
WIJAR welcomes submissions from a broad range of disciplines, including the natural sciences, social sciences, business, humanities, language, education, and other fields that contribute meaningful research and practical insights.

Submission Types
WIJAR welcomes the following types of submissions:
Research articles:
Original scholarly works that present research findings and contribute new knowledge to an academic discipline or professional field.
Review Papers:
Comprehensive reviews that synthesize and critically evaluate existing literarture to provide an overview of current knowledge on a speicfic topic.
Classroom Explorations:
Short scholarly articles that provide educators, teacher educators, and students with an opportunity to share innovative teaching practices, instructional strategies, classroom experiences, and perspectives on teaching and learning. These manuscripts should encourage reflection and promote evidence-informed educational practice.
Originality:
Submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration by another journal or publisher. Authors are asked not to submit the same manuscript to another publication while it is under review by WIJAR.

Call for Articles: August 1 each year
Submission Deadline:October 31 each year
Publication Dates:May 4 each year (Spring Issue) and June 29 each year (Summer Issue)
Review Process
All submissions undergo a rigorous three-stage review process consisting of:
- Initial Editorial Review
- Editorial Board Review
- Double-Blind Peer Review

Submit a Manuscript
Before submitting your manuscript, please verify that all submission requirements have been met. Manuscripts that do not comply with WIJAR’s submission guidelines may be returned to the author for revision before entering the peer review process.
