The Westcliff International Journal of Applied Research (WIJAR) is a multidisciplinary, double-blind peer-reviewed, open access journal. The mission of WIJAR is to enhance and disseminate scholarship by creating a platform for students, academics and industry professionals to publish research that offers insight into practical application. The journal publishes research focused on the natural and social sciences, business, humanities, language, and education, and is open to other areas that contribute to the body of research presently available in a given area. WIJAR is dedicated to offering substantial support throughout the review and editing process, aiding contributors in producing high-quality pieces that possess both the clarity and applicability needed for a wide audience.
Submission Types
Categories that will be accepted include:
Research articles: These types of written works analyze original research to determine results
that contribute to pre-existing information in a given area.
Review Papers: These types of written works summarize current ways of understanding a
particular topic.
Classroom Explorations: These types of written works are short articles that offer a voice for
educators, teacher educators, and students to share their beliefs, perspectives, and challenges concerning teaching and learning in today’s world. Additionally, these articles can be used as means to disseminate successful classroom practices and stories that will aid readers in understanding and reflecting on the complexity of education and the challenges encountered in the classroom.
Submissions must not have been published previously in any form or be under review in
another journal. It is requested that authors refrain from submitting their material to another journal until after they have completed the editorial decision process with WIJAR.

Author Guidelines
All articles will undergo a three-fold review process. Articles deemed to possess academic rigor, quality writing, and which offer insight into practical application will be considered for publication.
Each article must adhere to the Author Guidelines.

Submit an Article
Prior to the submission of an article, be sure that all the submission requirements have been followed. Articles that do not meet the journal specifications will automatically be returned to the author.
