The Westcliff International Journal of Applied Research (WIJAR) is a multidisciplinary, double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal with no article processing charges published by the LITE Center from the Office of Faculty Affairs in partnership with the Doctoral Affairs and Academic Resources Department at Westcliff University.

Founded in 2017, WIJAR welcomes original manuscripts from researchers, faculty, students, and industry professionals at Westcliff University and other institutions worldwide. The jounral is indexed in Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar.

WIJAR publishes innovative research that advances the practical application of knowledge across disciplines. To maximize the impact and accessibility of published scholarship, WIJAR encourages authors to write in a clear, engaging style that is understandable to readers from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, including those who may not be specialists in the subject area.

Aligned with Westcliff University’s mission to educate, inspire, and empower individuals, WIJAR is committed to supporting authors throughout the editorial process. A distinguishing feature of the journal is its emphasis on mentorship, particularly first time authors. Contributors have access to the Westcliff University Online Writing Center, where experienced writing specialists provide guidance on research communication, organization, and scholarly writing to help authors produce their strongest work.
