Continuous Publication

Westcliff International Journal of Applied Research (WIJAR) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles on a continuous basis throughout the year. Consider joining our email list to be sent reminders for important deadlines.

Manuscripts are accepted throughout the year. There is no annual submission deadline. Articles are reviewed and processed as they are received. Once a manuscript has successfully completed editorial review, peer review, revision, acceptance, and final production, it is published online as soon as it is ready. Authors do not need to wait for a scheduled issue or publication date.

Each published article receives a publication date, volume designation, DOI, and permanent article record and is freely available to readers through the WIJAR website.

Publication Process

  1. Submission
    Authors may submit manuscripts throughout the year in accordance with the WIJAR author guidelines
  2. Editorial Review
    Submissions are assessed for relevance, quality, originality, and compliance with WIJAR’s submission requirements
  3. Peer Review
    Manuscripts that proceed through editorial review undergo the journal’s peer review process
  4. Revision and Acceptance
    Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts. Once all requirements have been satisfied, the manuscript is formally accepted for publication.
  5. Production
    Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, formatting, proofreading, and final preparation for publication.
  6. Online Publication
    The completed article is published online individually. Publication occurs throughout the year rather than according to a fixed issue schedule.

Publication Frequency

WIJAR publishes continuously throughout the year. The number of articles published in a given volume will depend on the number of manuscripts that successfully complete the review and production process.

All WIJAR articles are published as open access and are freely available to readers. Authors and readers should consult WIJAR’s Open Access, Copyright, and Licensing policies for details.
